Kudos

A wealth of gratitude for Senior Lecturer Jim Nicholls, of the UW College of the Built Environment, who led the 'Agency of Materials' Studio to design, manufacture, and install the seating, bike racks, and movable tables that now activate the alley.

A special thanks to Elizabeth McCoury, the former CEO of the U District Partnership, for her support of the Alley Activation project. Her team delivered on the promise of the overhead lighting in the alley as a parting gift.
